The DVDO Air is a wireless HDMI® connection system running at 60GHz for the transmission of full 1080p uncompressed video with 7.1 surround sound. It performs exactly like a high-performance cable, except there’s no cable!
With easy plug and play installation it connects a HDMI® source (such as Blu-ray, cable or satellite box, notebook PC, Audio/ Video receiver, DVR) to a HDTV without wires between them. Fully compliant with HDMI® (including CEC remote control and 3D). The system comprises transmitter, receiver, TV top mount and wall mounting clips, 2 power supplies. The receiver can be installed on the TV Top or behind the screen. The receiver and transmitter must be in the same room (60 GHz won’t pass through walls) and ideally be within 10m of each other (non line of sight). Set-up's easy: power down, replace HDMI cable with DVDO Air, mount receiver on top or behind TV using mounting clips supplied, power up. 60 GHz wireless technology provides bandwidth for full 1080p and 7.1 surround sound UNCOMPRESSED.
