Ecosse ES2.3 Speaker Cable

Sonically, this full bandwidth single wire cable improves on the award winning CS2.3's ability to significantly extend low frequency response while, due to its far greater effective surface area, offering greater mid-band and treble clarity.
Structurally, the ES2.3 consists of Ecosse Reference UHP-UFOFC (Ultrafine) twisted copper strands, low dielectric loss polypropylene insulation, cotton damping and soft PVC sheathing. The Ultrafine copper strands, in 7 concentric parallel bundles per conductor, are woven in a precision rope lay- like the CS2.3. However, with nearly 800 strands per conductor, this cable has more that double its number of strands, but (being Ultrafine) has the same cross sectional area of 3sq mm. This topology and structure results in a mechanically stable, self-damping cable of low microphony, low impedance and excellent EMI/RFI rejection characteristics.
