The LX-380's output configuration features a high quality and stable power supply and a sensitive and warm quartet of beam powered 6L6GC output tubes.A sensitive and flexible Mullard driver system is coupled with two pairs of 6L6GC power tubes in push-pull configuration.The stable fixed grid bias voltage maintains the 20W per channel output power which is more than adequate for quality home music enjoyment.This unit was not constructed with just power in mind but as a vacuum tube amplifier with a discrete design which enables the listener to experience the depth and brilliance of any recording.The experience gained over our long history of designing audio products contributes to guaranteed satisfaction and enjoyment for the customer.

LECUA's vacuum tube amp debut
For the first time, Luxman has integrated LECUA into the design of a vacuum tube amplifier. This, coupled with the high quality integrated circuit preamp stage of the L-590AX enables smooth graduation over the volume control's range and negligible sound deterioration.
Clearly definable tone controls
Depending on the listener's choice of audio source and listening environment, the LX-380 provides a variety of preset tone selections, three-way turnover frequency selector, loudness and offers a truly personalized listening experience.
Anachievement in phono preamp design
As vinyl becomes more popular, due to it's depth and richness of tone, we have developed the Luxman concept of an integrated amplifier featuring a built in high quality preamp circuit for MM/MC cartridges.Quality component selection and circuitry negate the necessity for a separate phono preamp.In addition, the front panel is equipped with a filterswtichwhich suppresses errant low frequency signals from warped vinyl.There is also a monaural switch which links the left and right channels for true monaural playback.The discerning listener will certainly take pleasurein authentic analogue reproduction.
Expanding the system
This unit is able to integrate with separate amplifiers or AV systems by use of the separation switch which splits the preamp and power amp circuits.Additionally a headphone output is provided for the late night listener.
Reliability due to carefully selected components
As a high-end product, Luxman's careful selection of components and custom designed circuitry mean the LX-380 will provide the highest sound quality and durability for many years to come.Un-plated, spirally-wrapped shielding on the oxygen-free copper wiring contributes to the clarity of the signal path. Exclusively developed angle-free circuit board topology, low profile, high-quality capacitors and audio specific relays stand as a testament to Luxman's expertise and these are the building blocks of a musically rich audio product.
Robust speaker terminals
The rear panel features two pairs of 18mm gold plated speaker terminals which will also accept line cables equipped with Y connectors or banana plugs.
Dedicated remote control
A dedicated remote controller in brushed aluminum finish is included, enabling volume control from the listening position and play back control for other Luxman digital players.The specification and appearance are subject to change before the launch of the product.
