Ruckus Zone Director 1200 is the Ruckus Zone Director 1200 hardware component including licence to support up to 5 Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points.
Ruckus Zone Director 1200, can be supplied with or can be licence upgraded to support up to 75 Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points of any model and variety of models on a single network.
The Ruckus Zone Director 1200 can be upgraded in single licence steps to any number of Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points between 5 Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points and 75 Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points.
The Ruckus Zone Director 1200 can support up to 2,000 concurrent client stations. Other Ruckus Zone Director hardware models can support up to 1,000 Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points.
Ruckus Zone Director 1200 is visually, functionally and operationally similar to the earlier Ruckus Zone Director 1100, but is based on higher capacity processor and storage, giving faster performance.
Ruckus Zone Directors allow configuration, management, control, and provide automatic real-time dynamic performance optimisation of the network of Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points. Increasing the efficiency and benefits over standalone Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points.
Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points auto discover the Ruckus Zone Director. Configuration changes can easily be applied to multiple Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points or to the entire system simultaneously.
Ruckus Zone Directors automatically manage RF channel assignments across the Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points and ensure clients are seamlessly transferred between Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points according to changing factors such as available signal strength, interference, user mobility and requirements of other users.
Ruckus Zone Directors allow Smart Mesh connectivity of Ruckus ZoneFlex Access Points where Ethernet wired connectivity is either not possible or not desired for visual reasons.
