Legendary Line is traditional MC phono cartridge with faithfully succeeding the basic design of Model 701 series, which was sold in 1986 as the first generation of Shelter product. The 501 II blends its musical presentation with a warm, musically integrated, extended low end, and sweet and involving top end. Instruments shine and are easily placed, showing plenty of soul. Voices are heard with a wonderful 'you are there' presence. The mono version is preferred on Mono recordings for its lower noise floor and improved imaging.
