MCX2000 MusicCAST Digital Audio Server
With the MusicCAST system everyone in your family can store their CD collection in one central location, easily create playlists and custom CDs, even preserve vintage vinyl records as digital files, then transmit them anywhere in your home wirelessly. In addition to your stored music, more music sources are now available to you through the new MCX-2000 Server, including Internet Radio and FM broadcasts.

Capable of storing 2000* hours, the Server's self-contained 160GB hard drive has the ability to provide instant access to a vast selection of digital music. Music is saved to the hard drive in its original quality from CDs or external inputs, and then converted to MP3 (160k / 256k / 320k-bps compression rates) for broadcasting to Clients.
Built-in CD recognition database provided by Gracenote CDDB®, features full on-screen display of information, such as, Artist, Album and track names along with Music Genre. With internet access the latest CD recognition data is available from the Gracenote CDDB Server. The Server is able to send music to 16 different locations allowing up to an additional 15 independent Clients (including 5 wireless Clients) to be used with one Server, giving your family members instant access to music anywhere around the house.
