Previously Sonos owners could only use Apple iOS devices to stream music directly from a mobile device. As of today Sonos owners now have a little more choice. Sonos has now made available an update to its Android app to support direct streaming of music from your Android device. If an Android device has a local audio library, the controller software can send tracks, albums, playlists and podcasts to any Sonos component or speaker in your home.
