We've just had the privilege of hearing
Elipson's brand new
Planet LW loudspeakers.
They look identical to the Planet L but include an incredibly powerful 100W Bang & Olufsen ICEpower digital amplifier along with Elipson's Clear Audio technology. Each speaker plugs into the mains, so no need for a cable to link the two speakers which helps keep cable mess to a minimum. First impressions are extremely promising. Using music from our iPhone and iPad they effortlessly filled the room with a big powerful, controlled sound. UK Retail price is yet to be confirmed but expected to be around £1300 for a pair. Available in the same finishes: White, black or red lacquered. Delivered with table ring. Optional: exclusive stand, wall and ceiling mount bracket.
