AC POWER CONDITIONERS
All your Hi-Fi components are connected to the power line along with every other electrical device in your house, and to every home and factory also using the power grid.
Power equipment on the AC line generates noise that travels back into the line where it enters your audio components. This noise is called electromagnetic interference or EMI. Light dimmers, refrigerators, and other household appliances put high-frequency junk in the AC line. Vacuum cleaners and electrical power tools are a major source of power-line noise because the fibres in the motors' brushes are continually making and breaking contact. The Line is also polluted by AM radio stations; power lines act as antennae, superimposing the AM signal over the 50/60Hz line.
All of these problems can be controlled with a well-designed AC power-line conditioner. They provide the optimum AC environment for your components so that they may realise their full potential. The sonic benefits of a good line conditioner include a "blacker" background, with less low-level grunge and noise. The treble often becomes sweeter, less grainy and more extended.
If you haven't tried a power-line conditioner, you may not have heard your system at its best.

Mains electricity has a fundamental influence on the audio signal as it passes through a system, from source to amp to speakers. The mains supply in a typical dwelling is subject to interference induced by a range of issues, causing the AC waveform to distort before it reaches each component. This creates noise in the audio signal, which degrades sound quality – a situation that continues to worsen as the electrical devices we use in our homes proliferate.

RINGMAT POWER CABLE TWO MAINS CABLE
RINGMAT POWER CABLE TWO MAINS CABLE is a sizeable mains cable with a length of 4-core Power Cable and a substantial Earth cable at its heart. The Power Cable is the 4-core version of the substantial 5-core connecting mains cable used in the Pure Power Mains Cable. As in the case of the Pure Power Mains Cable, considerable care has been taken through extensive listening tests to ensure that the Power Cable TWO is of complimentary and comparable quality. Again, every care has been taken in the design of this Power Cable TWO Mains Cable to avoid those conditions whereby sound signals dependent upon mains power are adversely affected, such as where the wrong polarity has been used, the wrong number of strands have been used in conductors and through the use of solder to secure connections - only screws have been used to secure connections. Those familiar with the use of the Pure Power Cable as speaker cable will be recognise the practice. As with the Pure Power Mains Cable, we have effectively used a 5-core cable structure throughout for the Power Cable TWO version, with a single Earth conductor and two conductors each for live and neutral whereby ‘opposite’ conductors are paired.

RINGMAT PURE POWER MAINS CABLE
The RINGMAT PURE POWER MAINS CABLE is a very considerable Mains Cable with a length of 4-core Ringmat OFC Pure Power Cable and a weighty Earth cable at its heart. Prototypes of this Mains Cable have been in use in Ringmat Developments’ test bed system for some years. As explained above, the results are awesome. However, there was a practical problem in bringing them to the market in that the thickness of the Pure Power Cable and the Earth Lead (up to 10mm²) meant that they could not fit into even the very largest versions of domestic or professional AC mains plugs or high power IEC plugs/sockets. These problems have now been solved by linking the very large conductors at the heart of the Mains Cable to another substantial 5-core ‘connecting’ Mains Cable of significant quality, via a recently developed and very neat 5-pole connector at each end. Although the ‘connecting’ Mains Cable is very substantial, it is possible to terminate it with traditional UK and international type mains plugs. The exceptional quality of the Ringmat OFC Pure Power Cable is well documented and considerable care has been taken through extensive listening tests to ensure that the other components are of complimentary and comparable quality.
