AVID Reference Ruby MC Cartridge
Solid Ruby Cantilever - As the name implies the cantilever is solid Ruby with a Micro-Ridge diamond stylus.
The cartridge body is designed and manufactured by AVID and encapsulates components usually unsupported, resulting in less internal resonance and much attention has been paid to energy transfer.
For twenty-five years AVID has pushed the envelope of vinyl reproduction, its turntables now renowned throughout the audio industry and discerning music lovers the world over.

AVID Acutus Dark Limited Edition Turntable
The Acutus DARK™ Limited Edition, is the latest design from AVID HIFI. Essentially this turntable shares
almost all the design aspects with the, world famous Acutus (SP) with a few subtle differences.
For the first time in history this much revered design is going to be finished in a matte black, first seen at
High End Society’s (High End Show) In Munich this year. It still carries the same 10KG fully metal platter
driven by twin drive belts which are propelled by our legendary hand built 140nM motor and powered by
our 80VA calibrated, DSP controlled, Variable speed PSU, ensuring perfect pitch and stability control.

Avid Shielding Covers - 0452 RCA Caps - Green
Sieveking Sound
Avid is pleased to confirm distribution of Sieveking Sound from Germany.
Sieveking Sound RCA and XLR End Caps are a NECCESARY accessory for all unused analogue inputs and outputs of audio components.
The caps are made of pure copper and are coated with gold. Inside there is an additional Teflon insert. This unique combination allows excellent high-frequency absorption.

Avid Isopuks
Isopuks are highly effective isolators designed to reduce structure borne vibration and its deleterious effects on audio signals.
Structure borne vibration affects virtually every piece of audio equipment, but its effects are most damaging to the tiny signals read and processed by source components such as CD players and non-isolated turntables.
Vibration enters audio components via the feet & the chassis, reducing clarity, smearing detail and distorting frequency response. Eliminating this structural resonance in audio equipment results in instantaneous audible improvements; increases in soundstaging, improved imaging and (most importantly) smoother more natural tonal balance.

Avid Isorak Equipment Support - Standard
Isorak offers a high quality solution for audio equipment support allowing the heights and number of shelves to be tailored to suit individual installations. In building a hi-fi system that is capable of extracting the optimum performance from each component, the importance of the support system cannot be overstated.
Each shelf is precision machined, in either 30mm MDF or 26mm Oak veneered MDF - profiled to dissipate vibrations and prevent standing waves from forming. The usual configuration for stability is always three legs, however our four leg system allows easy access to certain types of equipment where the rear third leg is an obstruction, but still remaining stable as each spun 40mm solid aluminium leg is machined to a 0.1mm tolerance. Each solid aluminium leg is isolated at each termination point using our unique ball contact system.

AVID Platform
Avid’s engineering is based upon a sound understanding of construction and its impact upon vibration dispersion and control. Ensuring that 100% of the vibrations that you want are converted to an electrical signal and, conversely, ensuring unwanted vibrations are eliminated.
An isolation platform might seem like an unnecessary addition to an already fairly inert system – that is, until you try one. The benefits are not restricted to turntables either. CD players, Pre-amplifiers, especially valve-based products are transformed when they are isolated.

AVID Acutus Reference SP - Chrome
The product that launched the AVID brand, over a decade ago, onto the world hi-fi scene was the critically acclaimed Acutus turntable. For the many experts and enthusiasts who have subsequently lived with this turntable, it was the start of a journey to reconnect with their music collection. Time, however, marches onward and a decade is a long time in the life of an engineering company.
It was decided to lift the bar higher still – to apply the accumulated

AVID Acutus SP Turntable - Chrome
Acutus turntable is radically different from current design theories. Designed from a clean sheet, leaving nothing unexplored or unresolved. Setting a standard of musical reproduction others aspire to achieve. In brief, this is a belt drive, sprung subchassis design and this is where similarity with other designs stops. On first appearance you can see there is something different and you would be right.

AVID Sequel SP Turntable
Sequel is so much more than a step-up model from the Volvere. With a touch of high-end engineering finesse, the already robust chassis and structure benefit from a bespoke suspension system, bearing and platter.
Following our policy of continuous improvement, upgrades to power supply and motor which we developed for our Acutus Reference model have also been applied here, using the same principles of DSP signal generation to reduce vibration and allow fine calibration of motor speed.
