EAT
Beginning in the late 1990s, European Audio Team (EAT) began building what are regarded as some of the highest quality and best sounding vacuum tubes ever produced. Part of the secret to this legacy is the watchful eye and attention to detail of founder Jozefina Lichtenegger. Today EAT continues building a limited number of vacuum tubes specifically for the highest end audio playback systems. Beginning nearly a decade ago, EAT expanded their product portfolio to include high performance turntables and tonearms, with electronics following shortly behind them.

EAT Fortissimo Turntable
EAT Fortissimo Turntable
EAT Fortissimo

EAT used the Forte turntable as a basis for the new and upgraded Fortissimo (without tonearm). Eschewing the sleek designs of some of its competitors, the Fortissimo takes the mass-loading route without straying down the path followed by some manufacturers where mass equates with massively ugly.

The newly designed platter has twelve peripheral brass inserts and a central brass hub for increased platter weight (22kg), rotational inertia and speed stability. The oversized (400mm/16” in diameter) platter is a two-part construction incorporating both hard and soft alloys and Sorbothane damping to inhibit resonance, while opposed neodymiummagnets allow users to tune the bearing load, balancing noise from the main bearingagainst vertical stability and mechanical grounding.

EAT B-Sharp Turntable
EAT B-Sharp Turntable
B-Sharp Turntable

European Audio Team (E.A.T) announces B-Sharp turntable, with engineered cues taken directly from the company’s award-winning and highly acclaimed C-Major turntable. The B-Sharp sheds all of the non-essential cosmetic adornments of the C-Major without compromising performance or mechanical integrity, providing vinyl enthusiasts with a superb playback option at a more affordable price. The B-Sharp turntable features the new B-Note tonearm, made from a carbon fiber alloy that is light yet rigid with a black anodized aluminum headshell. The B-Note tonearm provides all of the key features for cartridge alignment and adjustability: VTA (Vertical Tracking Angle), SRA (Stylus Rake Angle), VTF (Vertical Tracking Force), azimuth and a slotted headshell for overhang / offset angle. The anti-skate mechanism has been engineered for more intuitive calibration, making setup of the B-Sharp notably easier than competitive products. A proprietary low noise motor, floating chassis, aluminum platter and a high-density MDF low profile base are included as standard features of the B-Sharp. Like the C-Major, the B-Sharp uses a high-tech TPE (thermoplastic elastomers) suspension system that works in concert with adjustable feet that provide levelling ability for the table.

EAT Forte Turntable
EAT Forte Turntable
A massive machine that gets the best out of your vinyl. Separate Sub Chassis and a mass loaded turntable gives you the best of both worlds.
The design of the Eat Forte turntable is based on a combination of two basic principles:
Separate Sub Chassis and a mass loaded turntable. The chassis of the table is very heavy and mass-loaded using metal-filled sand. The feet are magnetic and act as a sub chassis to support the table.

EAT E-Flat Turntable
EAT E-Flat Turntable
European Audio Team Announces Its Third Turntable … With A Radical New Tonearm!

EAT’s E-Flat is a new, forward-thinking turntable supplied with a revolutionary flat tonearm. Although flat arms have been seen in the past, none have been able to offer the rigidity necessary to deliver the stable performance expected of modern tonearms. Thanks to the continued evolution of carbon fibre, Forte has been able to create an arm with the practical and aesthetic benefits of a flat form, but without the weaknesses.

EAT Project EVO 12 (12 inch tonearm)
The history of the European Audio Team (EAT) began in the 1990s in the Czech Republic, when Josephine Lichtenger and her team of specialists set out to provide developers and manufacturers of high-end equipment with high-quality vacuum tubes. The first products of the company were triodes (52B and 32B), developed by A. Vaich, later KT-88 and 300B lamps appeared. In 2008, the EAT brand was officially born. All products are created in Prague at the purchased production facilities of the Tesla plant.

EAT JO No 8 MC Cartridge
EAT JO No 8 MC Cartridge
The Jo N°8 high-end performance moving-coil cartridge will extract more from the groove than previously imagined.

In 2018, E.A.T.'s Jo N°5 moving-coil cartridge raised the bar for affordable transducers capable of high-end performance. Reviewers around the world acknowledged that it was remarkable for a cartridge at its price point. But, they mused, what would E.A.T. deliver with no price constraints? According to founder and CEO Jozefina Lichtenegger, "Jo N°8 was created because of the demand to go one step further, following of the success of Jo N°5. Customers and distributors concurred that the design was an obvious candidate for more exclusive components, an even more carefully conducted, higher level of selection and – ultimately – a superlative, but inevitably more costly and exclusive precision-made body. We knew that this recipe would result in a wonderful-sounding transducer."
