In today's world of custom multi-room audio installations, long cable runs can degrade audio signals to unacceptable levels. Similarly, in professional environments, impedance matching is required when connecting unbalanced and balanced components together. The XLRX-8 converts unbalanced RCA inputs to balanced XLR outputs. Using a completely transformerless design in the audio signal path, the XLRX-8's efficient circuit design provides super low distortion impedance matching performance.

The XLRX-8 can be used in many applications, such as multi-room audio installations, where long audio cable runs are required. With the XLRX-8, low impedance, balanced audio lines can be implemented for the majority of the cabling and converted to unbalanced, high impedance cabling near the main equipment rack. The XLRX-8 is also ideal when impedance matching is required for the home studio or professional installation.
