Edge Series speakers are designed to be installed into walls and ceilings where there is to be no wet plaster skim, however it is still possible to install the speaker where there are such finishes, but please note that you will need to install the speaker post-plastering and use alignment shims to achieve the correct finish.

The Amina Edge7 offers smooth low frequency extension with increased power handling and sensitivity, resulting in a dynamic and engaging listening experience that has never before been heard from an invisible loudspeaker. Building on the award-winning Mobius Series design, the Edge7 incorporates OptiDamping, OptiDrive and Reduced-Resonance Exciter technologies, built into a plaster up-to design.
The Edge Soundboard
The speaker uses a high quality fire-resistant panel material which allows for seamless integration into plasterboard walls and ceilings without the need for a full wet skim, all in the easy to install, lightweight form-factor that Amina is known for.

Plaster up-to refers to the installation method and how the loudspeaker becomes invisible once installed. Edge speakers are installed much like a section of tapered-edge plasterboard, with the perimeter filled, taped and then fully painted over. When installed in this way, the loudspeaker becomes fully invisible, much like our plaster-over loudspeakers, but without the requirement for a full wet plaster skim.
