The Rako Cloud Gateway allows lighting, curtain and blind control from home automation devices.
The Cloud Gateway is the interface between a Rako system and systems such as Amazon's Echo (Alexa), Google Home and Apple HomeKit, allowing voice commands to control lighting, curtains and blinds.
Lights can be turned on and off, scenes selected and curtains/blinds opened and closed. It is also possible to specify percentage levels for individual channels and change the colour of RGB fittings.
By installing a Cloud Gateway and registering an account at myrakocontrols.com, home automation devices can talk to Rako products over IP. The Rako system must include a Bridge connected to the same network as the Cloud Gateway.
Support for the above IoT services will be introduced throughout 2017.
