Pictured here is Linn's flagship Sekrit IW10 in-wall loudspeakers. These speakers are designed for in-wall applications. Once fitted they sit flush in your wall with only a discrete white metal grille showing.
They can be single wired like any other speaker or as we have configured them here, they can be made Aktiv. Using a Linn Majik 6100 (6 x 100w) power amplifier we are driving each drive unit independently.
A common trend in both new-build properties and major renovations is to have a large open plan family/living area, including Kitchen, Dining and living areas. With the majority of family time spent in this area it's no surprise that this is where our customers want the best possible sound. Conventional cabinet speakers aren't always practical in such areas and the IW10 in-wall loudspeakers offer an excellent alternative with the most incredible sound quality.
The majority of properties we install multi-room systems into are adopting Sonos and for consistency of control we have shown here how you can squeeze every last drop of sound quality from a Sonos Connect. We have taken the digital output from the Sonos Connect into an Audiolab M-DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) before entering the Majik 6100 power amplifier which is actively driving the speakers.
