Tannoy Legacy Series - Cheviot Floorstanding Speakers

Tannoy Legacy Cheviot Speakers (Pair) is the smallest floorstanding model in the Legacy Series, sitting in between the Eaton and Arden designs. Like its brothers, the model pays homage to Tannoy’s much-loved HPD models from the 1970’s which set the standard for bringing studio sound quality into the home.
The Legacy range sits just below the Prestige range, and showcases nods to the original Legacy series. The Cheviot enjoys added details such as a 12 inch driver and two band energy control with boost and accentuation control to fine-tune the speakers to their environment.

Building on the research and development that delivered the bespoke SYSTEM3D - a high quality professional sound reinforcement loudspeaker originally designed for the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London - the VOTU brings new levels of refinement and authority to the discerning home enthusiast or professional user alike.
The VOTU uses two 10" drivers which cover the bass frequencies and extend up to 800Hz, where a refined 3" soft dome driver takes over, covering the critical midrange region until 4kHz, at which point the high power 34mm soft dome tweeter comes in to play. The midrange dome is mounted above the tweeter to improve the integration between it and the tweeter.

a concentric driver comes to an affordable family of loudspeakers.
ELAC’s chief engineer explains how Uni-Fi speakers build on a new foundation: “My goal with the Uni-Fi
series was to create a line of speakers with technology and performance normally reserved for speakers
costing significantly more. By going with a 3-way design and employing a new in-house developed concentric
driver, I’ve achieved a sound that is more true to the music than similar priced products.”

A benchmark to celebrate 90 years of ELAC achievement.
One look tells you this is no ordinary loudspeaker; at more than 5½–ft tall and weighing more than 300 lbs, Concentro commands attention. Its elliptical cabinet is crafted to the finest furniture-grade perfection and finished in high-gloss white or black epoxy, or to specification in any color in between. The Concentro cannot be mistaken for any other speaker, with a complex base machined from a single block of aluminum and weighing more than 55 pounds. Integral oval side panels of precious wood, carbon fiber or leather surround a pair of side-firing 250mm woofers on either side of the enclosure. These newly-developed units feature smooth, stiff aluminum-sandwich diaphragms, and fire in a push-push/pull-pull configuration that delivers maximum energy and accuracy, down to the lowest octave. The back of the cabinet features twin ports for the bass drivers.
