Clearaudio Talismann V2 Moving Coil Cartridge
The Talismann V2 Gold provides the entry level into the latest "V2" - Generation of clearaudio MC cartridges providing outstanding performance for less than 1,000 Euros.
A major improvement over its predecessor is the use of a patented configuration of 8 magnets, which is characterized by the extremely wide dynamic range.
In common with all the MC cartridges in the new "V2"- Generation, the Talismann V2 Gold is fitted with a Micro HD stylus (HD=High Definition) and a precision boron cantilever.

Ortofon SPU Royal GM MKII
|
|
The SPU Royal GM MKII provides a playback experience that embodies the essence of analog, with generous refinements which bring the legendary SPU cartridges into the realm of unrivaled perfection.
The addition of Ortofon’s unique Replicant 100 stylus and reduced tip mass ensures open and detailed sound reproduction for a purely exquisite listening experience.
Electrum coils, consisting of a gold and silver alloy, provides uncolored and precise transmission of armature movements while the slightly modified damping system makes it possible to reduce VTF and achieves a higher level of linearity.

Ortofon SPU Synergy GM
|
|
The SPU Synergy GM modernizes the classic SPU design with a number of optimizations designed for optimum compatibility and sonic purity.
The SPU Synergy features a wood-based housing and has a revised generator system which allows for a maximum output of 500µV, relaxing the requirement for high gain transformer or active preamplification systems.
While still making use of a highly polished Nude Elliptical stylus, the stylus tip mass has been reduced significantly, resulting in reduced VTF and higher tracking ability.

Audio-technica AT33EV MC Cartridge - Duralumin Cantilever
|
|
The original model of this stereo cartridge is the AT33ANV, which was available as a special release to celebrate our 45th anniversary. The A33ANV was the first in the AN33 series to feature a Duralumin cantilever, which received wide acclaim for its sound quality. Retaining the basic specification, we present a further improved and evolved model.
The A33EV isa ½ inch, standard mount 0.3 x 0.7 mm elliptical cartridge featuring a tapered Duralumin cantilever which reduces the effective mass of the cartridge, resulting in a more durable cantilever. The Dual Moving Coil cartridge design increases channel separation and extends the frequency response range delivering extraordinary audio quality. Internally constructed with a neodymium magnet enhances magnetic energy and PCOCC wire for pure audio transmission.

Koetsu The Signature Moving Coil Cartridge
|
|
The Red Signature (Platinum) looks very much like the Red Signature.
The similarities however, stop there. The body of the Platinum model is made from aged Rosewood which gives it a darker color tone. The greatest difference though, is inside.
The coils of the Pro IV are made of 6N copper wire, painstakingly clad with a silver jacket. The magnets are made of the proprietary (and very expensive) Platinum alloy which accounts for the higher price.
