Ortofon Classic NE
|
|
The SPU Classic N E provides the same sound reproduction properties as the SPU Classic GM E series, but is sold without the integrated headshell unit.
The SPU Classic N is a Moving Coil (MC) cartridge with an elliptical stylus profile and provides more detailed sound reproduction and expansive imaging.
Listeners who wish to mount the SPU Classic on a traditional headshell may do so, and those with vintage SPU-type headshells can use the Classic N E to recreate an authentic and functional SPU cartridge.

Ortofon MC-A95 (MCA95)
|
|
Ortofon is proud to launch the MC A95, a world class moving coil cartridge to commemorate the 95th anniversary of Ortofon’s technical leadership in the audio industry.
With the MC A95, the bar is raised for its predecessor, the MC A90. The MC A95 not only celebrates the past 95 years of Ortofon, first and foremost it also makes history by significantly raising the standards by which sound reproduction is measured, making it a celebration of sound itself.
The new Ortofon MC A95 has gone to the next level by reducing unwanted vibrations and increasing the dynamic capability of the cartridge. Our extensive knowledge of vibration properties, characteristics in different shapes and materials, competences in magnetism, mechanical design and new technologies has been applied for optimization of the MC A95.

Ortofon Xpression
|
|
The state of the art Ortofon Xpression cartridge represents the perfect combination of three distinct characteristics pioneered by Ortofon:
1.Use of the cutting edge SLM materials, a technology pioneered on the MC A90 and SPU 90th Anniversary models.
2.Modification of the all-new generator system introduced with the MC A90 and the MC Windfeld models.
3.Ortofon's design tradition.
Utilising these three elements, Ortofon have created a totally new product in order to support their SPU cartridge customers, and the many owners of Ortofon tonearms around the world.

Ortofon Cadenza Mono
|
|
The Ortofon Cadenza Mono is the last addition to the Cadenza range, and it brings high-quality pick-up technology back to the now often over-looked world of mono recordings. The Cadenza Mono is made with a nude fine line stylus and a cylindrical aluminium cantilever. For easy use the pins are connected, so you get the same signal from both pairs of connecting pins. The stylus radius is r/R 8/40 µm.

Ortofon Quintet Mono
|
|
Quintet Mono
Nothing demonstrates Ortofon's long-standing resilience more than its commitment to the refinement of analogue sound quality and its continued development of new cartridge models. Since 1948 Ortofon have introduced about 100 different moving coil models, with their latest being the Quintet Series.
Ortofon believe the cartridges in this new series are more than worthy successors to the long line of models that have made Ortofon the global leader in the manufacturing and supplying of phono cartridges.

Ortofon MC-1 Turbo
|
|
The MC-1 Turbo is an excellent entry into the world of high output Moving Coil (MC) cartridges, with an elliptical stylus profile.
The MC-1 Turbo has a 3.3mV output, which makes it perfect for use with inbuilt phono preamps – specifically ones designed for Moving Magnet (MM) cartridges.
The MC-1 Turbo provides a taste of the linearity and precision of moving coils, but without the need for additional high gain preamps or transformers.

EAT Yosegi Moving Coil Cartridge

The more that is talked about the mechanical/electrical transducer, the clearer it becomes that the choice of material and its resonance characteristics are audible.
The cartridge and all that comprise it are the most sensitive parts of an audio reproduction chain. Here is the transfer of the mechanical modulation into an electrical signal, and here is the signal the weakest!!!
Wood has always been one of the most-used materials in audio.
Yet various woods, as well as MDF, have specific structures and densities, and therefore possess their own characteristic "sound".
MDF is too heavy and too dull for many applications. Additionally, you have to treat MDF with additional surfaces to make it visually attractive and domestically acceptable.

Koetsu Tiger Eye Platinum Moving Coil Cartridge
|
|
As with all the Platinum series of Koetsu cartridges, it uses a set of very tightly matched Platinum-alloy magnets.
For such delicate work, Koetsu Japan specially commissioned a craftsman to handle the task. The final design was chosen after assessing many prototypes.
Koetsu Japan had long held the belief that the best way of eliminating interface issues between the stylus and cantilever is to build the complete assembly out of a solid piece of material. They decide to pursue this belief by crafting the stylus/cantilever assembly out of a solid piece of diamond.
