If you thought that setting up a hi-fi quality turntable was complicated, the Pro-Ject Primary USB sets out to disprove that theory. It does this by effectively combining the strong points of two other award-winning turntables from the Pro-Ject range; the Elemental Phono USB and the Essential II.
Like the Elemental Phono USB, the Primary Phono USB uses an 8.6” aluminium tonearm with sapphire bearings for optimal tracking. The tonearm is pre-configured for the supplied Ortofon OM 5E pick-up cartridge, so there’s no need to set-up the tracking force or anti-skate during installation. The motor is also the same perimeter belt-drive type, with a low-vibration synchronous motor that’s controlled by a built-in regulator for improved speed stability.

The Essential III retains the simple yet elegant frame of the Essential II. Made from high-quality MDF for its acoustically neutral character, and now wrapped in a high-gloss paint finish (available in red, white or black); the main structure combines both elegance and functionality. The plinth is then mounted on three anti-vibration feet, for effective decoupling from the surface on which the turntable is placed.

The 2Xperience SB S-Shape takes all the same innovations and improvements of the 2 Xperience SB design, but utilises a brand new S-Shape tonearm to give vinyl enthusiasts a more versatile high-end record player.
The S-Shape tonearm is made of a special alloy of aluminium with very high internal damping properties, for reduced resonance. Magnetic feet decoupled from the chassis surface, Sorbothane 'pillows' and a floating-magnetic platter essentially guarantee a silent-running turntable. The Signature 10 spins via a heavy belt drive designed to keep exceptional timing and quality.
