The history of SpeakerCraft is a story of innovation, determination and a drive to provide technology that makes a difference in the lives of their customers. From its genesis over thirty years ago as a small retail storefront the company later began producing loudspeakers for motor homes. This led to SpeakerCraft creating the first in-wall speaker. The company became an OEM manufacturer for some of the largest names in the audio business. In 1994 SpeakerCraft released a series of custom installed loudspeakers under their own brand. The key to their success was in the selection of Jeremy Burkhardt, an enthusiastic young man who had cut his teeth on the retail floor and spent countless hours selling and installing audio systems. He not only forged alliances with the top dealers in the country but he was also a major force in new product development. Through his incredible energy and determination the products and support from SpeakerCraft set new standards in the industry.

The Speakercraft Profile AIM8 Wide One is a 3-Way, Fully Pivoting In-Ceiling Speaker featuring wide sound dispersion using dual tweeters and mid-ranges mounted 70 degrees off axis and 8 inch cone woofer. The Profile AIM8 Wide One has the same footprint and woofers as the AIM 8. However, the rest of the speaker is a huge departure from that familiar format. A unique dual mid-tweeter module is mounted directly over the woofer with two 2-inch dome midrange drivers and two .75-inch dome tweeters facing 70 degrees off access from each other. The result is ultra-wide dispersion with tremendous fidelity. New low profile magnetically attached grill.
