The history of SpeakerCraft is a story of innovation, determination and a drive to provide technology that makes a difference in the lives of their customers. From its genesis over thirty years ago as a small retail storefront the company later began producing loudspeakers for motor homes. This led to SpeakerCraft creating the first in-wall speaker. The company became an OEM manufacturer for some of the largest names in the audio business. In 1994 SpeakerCraft released a series of custom installed loudspeakers under their own brand. The key to their success was in the selection of Jeremy Burkhardt, an enthusiastic young man who had cut his teeth on the retail floor and spent countless hours selling and installing audio systems. He not only forged alliances with the top dealers in the country but he was also a major force in new product development. Through his incredible energy and determination the products and support from SpeakerCraft set new standards in the industry.

These high power subwoofers boast 125 watt, 150 watt and 250 watt robust amplifiers. Each subwoofer is designed for huge bass response, easy system setup and flexibility. They feature line level inputs to connect to most any receiver or preamp, a continuously variable low pass crossover so you can adjust the subwoofer to match the bass response of your main speakers, adjustable phase switch and a proprietary SpeakerCraft bass boost circuit. Each model is equipped with a fixed high-pass crossover circuit to cut off the bass to the front (main) speakers so the upper bass will not overlap, thereby avoiding booming.

The SLS Two Slim Line Surface Mount speaker features a ported extruded aluminium enclosure, which is only 5 1/4" deep. A solid wood baffle provides a dense non-resonant housing for the multi-driver array.
