Originally founded in 1983 by Robin Marshall, Epos continues to be one of those loudspeaker brands people aspire to own. In 1999, Michael Creek purchased the brand and having had the opportunity to work closely with Robin Marshall for several years, it became apparent to Michael that there was a great synergy between Creek electronics and Epos loudspeakers. The underlying philosophies of both company founders were undoubtedly similar. Development is key to the ongoing success of Epos and in 2009 its long awaited flagship model, the Encore 50 was previewed at the High End Show in Munich. With some final improvements, it was ultimately released in the beginning of 2010 and has since received wide acclaim from all corners of the world.
December 2010 sees the release of the all new Epic series. Initially comprising three models, 2 bookshelf/stand mount models plus one floor stander, although this will grow through 2011.

Epos ELS8
Epos Ltd is pleased to announce the release of its latest speaker, the ELS 8.
Derived from the ELS 3 bookshelf speaker which sold well for over 6 years, the new, more attractive, ELS 8 has been designed to develop a wider bandwidth and have improved appearance.
The ELS 8 has a larger, internally braced, 18mm thick cabinet with stylish curved front baffle, to reduce diffraction and removable cloth grille to house its ELS polypropylene coned 150mm drivers. In addition, Epos has developed a new 1" metal domed tweeter for the ELS 8 with smoother and extended high frequency range which, together with the increased cabinet size and rear porting, has significantly increased its bandwidth.

Epos M5 Loudspeakers
The M5 speaker is the smaller of the two bookshelf speakers in the current M series range of products.
In designing this fully shielded 2-way bass reflex design speaker, the Epos engineering team has fully considered the demands of today’s home theatre requirements. Importantly the speaker equally stands its ground in the world of two-channel audio.
The fully shielded M5 uses a 25mm metal dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet. The 137.5mm woofer uses the new Epos die cast aluminium chassis and features a phase plug. The speaker has provision for bi-wiring.

Epos M16i
The new Epos M16i is a floor-standing 2 ½ - way speaker which excels in accuracy, dynamics, imaging and poise. This speaker was designed to be equally dynamic in a two-channel or home theatre application. The result is a loudspeaker with deep bass, a fast dynamic sound and very high power handling. It is equally at home playing music or movies and is of course magnetically shielded.
The revised Epos 25mm (1 in.) low distortion metal dome tweeter used in the M16i is designed for smooth, clear and extended treble. It features a strong die-cast aluminium alloy face plate, moulded surround, ferrite magnet and Ferrofluid cooling. The crossover is centred on 3kHz and incorporates film capacitors in critical locations.

Epos M22i
The current flagship of the Mi range of speakers, the 2 ½- way M22i, has deeper bass and higher power handling than the M16i. In designing the M22i, the Epos engineering team designed a high performance two channel speaker that would be equally at home in a home theatre application.
The M22i uses the revised Epos 25mm (1 in.) low distortion metal dome tweeter, designed for smooth, clear and extended treble. The upper frequency crossover is centred on 5kHz and the minimalistic 1st order crossover is simply a polypropylene film capacitor.

This unique Epos Flagship loudspeaker has been 3 years in the making but, there is no doubt the time taken to develop this exceptional loudspeaker has been well worth the wait.

Epos M16 Floorstanding Speaker
The latest in the Epos range of real-wood floor standing speakers, the M16 is all about accuracy, dynamics and poise. It will perform well in 2 channel or home theater systems.
The Epos M16 is new a floor-standing, rear-ported, two and a half way speaker finished in a polished real-wood veneer. It is supplied with a custom wooden plinth which can be used with four 6mm carpet spikes, which can be adjusted to make the cabinet tilt backwards, if required.
Epos M15.2 and M22 Plinths
Because both the M15.2 and M22 are tall and slim floorstanding loudspeakers, they need to be stabilised to prevent them being accidentally knocked over. Epos has designed a plinth, which bolts to the bottom of the cabinet. The plinth increases the footprint of the speaker to make it more stable. Spikes are also supplied to help decouple unwanted energy from the cabinet/plinth, when in use, through to the floor.
