The Amina Edge5i offers smooth low frequency extension and increased low-mid performance, resulting in a dynamic and engaging listening experience that has never before been heard from an invisible loudspeaker. Building on the groundbreaking performance of the Edge5 loudspeaker, the Edge5i features brand new Excelsior class high frequency drivers as well as Amina’s OptiDamping, OptiDrive, Reduced-Resonance Exciter technology and the new patented ToneRelief panel technology all built into a plaster up-to design.
Note: The ‘i’ upgrade to the Edge5 includes a change of impedance for the Edge5i, which is now rated at a more efficient 4ohms.
The Edge Soundboard
The speaker uses a high quality fire-resistant panel material which allows for seamless integration into plasterboard walls and ceilings without the need for a full wet skim, all in the easy to install, lightweight form-factor that Amina is known for.
Amina Tip:
Edge Series speakers are designed to be installed into walls and ceilings where there is to be no wet plaster skim, however it is still possible to install the speaker where there are such finishes, but please note that you will need to install the speaker post-plastering and use alignment shims to achieve the correct finish.
