THE BUILD AND FINISH
The Dark Side of the Moon artwork-inspired design continues throughout the turntable, at all times expressed through only high-end componentry. The three-cornered platter mirrors the album’s triangular dispersive prism, and a solid aluminium sub-platter sits in bronze bushing and supports the 10mm heavy glass structure. Like the album, this deck backs up its visuals with exceptional quality material.
DRIVE SYSTEM
The precision belt-drive turntable enables two speeds, 33 and 45 rpm, with an electronic speed control, and Pro-Ject supplies a seven-inch single adapter for owners of, say, Money or Us And Them.
TONEARM AND CARTRIDGE
As well as unique visuals, owners of The Dark Side of the Moon turntable get new technical workings, including the 8.6-inch acrylic and black aluminium low resonance tonearm, which Pro-Ject equips with spring anti-skating.
