The P815 is the direct descendant of the original DTS preview theater main loudspeaker. This reference-quality, precision full-range speaker is designed for large home cinemas, studios, screening rooms and small cinemas.
It combines the P8 reference loudspeaker with the LF815 15" low-frequency module to produce THX cinema reference levels at an incredible 8 meters (over 26 feet).
Two versions are available. The P815 AMP is bi-amplified with 2 x 700 watts of on-board high efficiency class-D power and 28-bit ASP DSP. It requires only a single input from the preamp/processor. The P815-FP enables users to place the power amplifiers in the rack and requires external DSP for crossover and internal EQ. The Procella DA-2800DSP is the ideal P815-FP amplifier, delivering 1,400W to the LF815 and 360W to the P8.
