Building on the award-winning Edge Series design, the Edge3 has been repackaged into a smaller footprint allowing installation where there is reduced stud spacing. Using the same tapered perimeter glass resin core as the Edge5 and Edge7, and incorporating OptiDamping and Reduced-Resonance Exciter technology, Edge3 is a plaster up-to design that provides high performance at an entry level price point.
The Edge Soundboard
The speaker uses a high quality fire-resistant panel material which allows for seamless integration into plasterboard walls and ceilings without the need for a full wet skim, all in the easy to install, lightweight form-factor that Amina is known for.
Amina Tip:
Edge Series speakers are designed to be installed into walls and ceilings where there is to be no wet plaster skim, however it is still possible to install the speaker where there are such finishes, but please note that you will need to install the speaker post-plastering and use alignment shims to achieve the correct finish.
