DS2 Line
The Pre Box DS2 Analogue is a pure, single-ended Class A output pre-amplifier. Improving on its predecessor not just with the new DS2 aesthetic, internally it also now boasts a high-end circuit design.
The electrical layout of the Pre Box DS2 Analogue, in combination with a newly developed relay-controlled volume pot, ensures the amplifier has an extremely low noise floor. The inputs are also switched by high-quality relays and the use of couple-capacitor-free signal paths means the electrical signal leaves the amplifier as clean as possible.
The pure analogue technology employed in the Pre Box DS2 Analogue is rarely found on other pre-amplifiers in its price-range. The end-result is an unbelievably dynamic and relaxed musical sound that suits it to many more expensive systems, but in combination with the Amp Box DS2 or two Amp Box DS2 Mono‘s you will reach levels of audio performance that defy belief for the price.
The Pre Box DS2 Analogue is easy to control either by the front panel, or the supplied remote control. The 12V trigger output on the back panel allows for other compliant devices (such as the Amp Box DS2) to switch on and off when the Pre Box DS2 Analogue is controlled.
