StoneAudio Powerblok P2000 AC Mains Power ConditionerThe PowerBlok series of AC mains power conditioners have been designed specifically for use in conjunction with high quality domestic audio systems for the specific purpose of improving sound quality.
Several types of noise and distortion are reduced with the use of these conditioners. The key parameter is the reduction of 'common mode' noise, that is noise and distortion that is equal to both the live and neutral wires on the incoming mains.
The PowerBlok P2000 will provide up to 2000VA of continuous mains power, and 10,000VA of short term transient power. This is sufficient to power the most powerful of domestic Hi Fi systems in use today. However, we recommend that for best performance a considerable margin of latitude is allowed. Therefore we suggest that for stereo systems of up to 500 watts per channel, the PowerBlok P2000 will be sufficient. If your power amplifiers exceed 500 watts per channel then use one PowerBlok P2000 for each channel.
